Stanislaus Stoke
Stanislaus Stoss ( Polish Stanisław Stwosz ); (* around 1478 in Cracow , Poland ; † 1528 in Nuremberg ) was a late Gothic sculptor and carver . He was mainly active in Krakow. He often worked with his father Veit Stoss and Jörg Huber from Passau. His creative period began before 1505. Around this time he also married Apolonia, the daughter of the Krakow painter Marcin Czarny .
