Jörg Sandvoss

Jörg Sandvoss (born December 10, 1958 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German manager . Since January 1, 2016 he has been CEO of DB Regio AG .

Life

Sandvoss has a doctorate in finance and before joining Deutsche Bahn, he already took on several roles at Deutsche Lufthansa and Lufthansa Systems . Sandvoss has been with Deutsche Bahn AG since 2000.

Initially, he worked for DB Fernverkehr AG until 2007 in service planning and was responsible for international communications. He then moved to DB Netz AG as chief timetable planner and was appointed director of sales and human resources in 2010.

On January 1, 2016, he succeeded Manfred Rudhart, who moved to the international subsidiary Arriva as CEO of DB Regio . Thomas Schaffer took over his job at DB Netz AG .
