Jörg Seip

Jörg Seip (* 1967 ) is a German Roman Catholic pastoral theologian .

Life

He studied Catholic theology at the Paderborn Theological Faculty and the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . After completing his doctorate in Catholic theology in 2001 at the Paderborn Theological Faculty with the topic "Sermon as literature. Fictionality and testimony", he was a lecturer in homiletics at the Paderborn Theological Faculty from the 2001/2002 winter semester to the 2012 summer semester . In the summer semester 2008 was a lecturer for homiletics at the PTH Sankt Georgen . After his habilitation in 2008 in pastoral theology and homiletics at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg (topic of the habilitation thesis: Discourse-critical positioning of pastoral theology), he was a private lecturer in Würzburg from the 2009/2010 winter semester to 2012 summer semester . In 2012 he was appointed Professor of Pastoral Theology at the University of Bonn .
