Jörg Zumbach

Jörg Zumbach (born January 29, 1973 in Bruchsal ) is a German psychologist and professor for didactic research on teaching and learning with a focus on new media at the Paris-Lodron University in Salzburg .

Life

After graduating from high school, Zumbach studied psychology from 1993 to 1999 at the Ruprecht Karl University of Heidelberg . After studying psychology, he received his doctorate there in 2003. Since 2006, he has held the professorship for didactic research on teaching and learning with a focus on new media at the Paris-Lodron University in Salzburg , Austria . Since 2007 he has been the head of the inter-faculty department of subject didactics / teacher training . Since 2007 he has been co-coordinator of the “Learning and Instruction with Computers” specialist group of the European Association for Research on Learning and Instruction (EARLI).
