Jörn Domeier

Jörn Domeier (born October 13, 1979 in Helmstedt ) is a German politician ( SPD ). He has been a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament since 2017 .

Life

Jörn Domeier completed an apprenticeship as an administrative clerk after secondary school and worked in this profession in local government. As a part-time job, he trained as an industrial foreman and technical business economist (IHK). Until his election to the state parliament in 2017, Domeier worked in production at Volkswagen AG .

Domeier lives in Rottorf am Klei and is a Lutheran. He is married and has two children.

Party and politics

Domeier joined the SPD in 1996. In Helmstedt he was the local association chairman for eight years and was a member of the city council. In the state elections in Lower Saxony in 2017 , he received a direct mandate in the state electoral district of Helmstedt . In the state parliament he is a member of the Committee on Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection.
