Jørgen Nybo Rasmussen

Jørgen Nybo Rasmussen (born July 10, 1929 in Vejen ) is a Danish historian and archivist .

Life

From 1947 he attended the Lyngby Statsskole . Graduating Cand. likes in history and geography from Copenhagen University in 1960. He converted to the Roman Catholic Church in 1950 . He studied from 1960 to 1964 in Munich and Mainz . In Rigsarkivet he worked from 1964 to 1989. The Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz awarded him in 2006 an honorary doctorate Dr. theol. hc His historical specialization is the Nordic Franciscans in the Middle Ages and at the time of the Reformation.
