The Jewish cemeteries in Oschersleben are two Jewish cemeteries in the city of Oschersleben in the Börde district in Saxony-Anhalt .

Old graveyard

The 988 m² cemetery was located on the city ​​wall on Halberstädter Strasse, but the exact location is unknown. It was opened with a first burial in 1678. The last burial took place in 1905. On June 1, 1938, the cemetery grounds were sold.

New cemetery

The cemetery, newly laid out at the beginning of the 20th century, is located on Hornhäuser Chaussee, leaving the town in the direction of Hornhausen, next to the city cemetery. The Jewish community was able to purchase the property for 4,000 Reichsmarks at that time . The last two funerals took place in 1938. There are only three tombstones left . At the beginning of November 2009 a memorial stone was inaugurated in memory of the city's Jewish citizens. At the end of November 2009 the cemetery was desecrated . Three tombstones were knocked over.
