A Jewish community in Blâmont , a community in the Meurthe-et-Moselle department in the French region of Lorraine , had existed since the end of the 18th century at the latest.

history

In 1808 there were 65 Jewish residents in Blâmont and in 1813 there were already 84. In 1844 a synagogue was built in Blâmont on the road to Frémonville , which was destroyed during the Second World War.

The Jewish cemetery is on the road to Harbouey and is evidence of what was once a large Jewish community.
