Jewish cemetery (Glesch)

The Jewish cemetery Glesch was on the opposite bank of the Erft near Glesch , a district of Bergheim in the Rhein-Erft district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

Today nothing can be seen of the Jewish cemetery . It was documented in the 19th and 20th centuries. In 1969, the burial ground had to give way to the ongoing brown coal mining . The graves were reburied in the Jewish cemetery in Elsdorf .
