The Kaster Jewish cemetery was once located here

The Jewish cemetery Kaster was on the Erft near Kaster , a district of Bedburg in the Rhein-Erft district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

Nothing can be seen of the Jewish cemetery on site. It was probably documented in the 19th century. In 1974, the burial site had to give way to the ongoing brown coal mining . The oldest tombstone ( Mazewot ) in the Elsdorf cemetery from 1783 comes from the cemetery in Kaster. In 1972 five tombstones were erected there.
