Jewish cemetery (Friesheim)

The Jewish cemetery Friesheim is located in the Friesheim district of Erftstadt in the Rhein-Erft district , North Rhine-Westphalia .

The cemetery was occupied from before 1851 to 1942. Today there are still eleven tombstones ( Mazewot ). The burial site was sold to the then Friesheim community in 1943. The Jewish Trust Corporation has owned it since 1952 .

The cemetery is on Landstrasse 162 in the direction of Niederberg . It can be reached from the street via an approximately 100 m long meadow path and has an unlocked gate in the fence. A sign on the gate pillar indicates the former Jewish community of Friesheim.
