The Dirmerzheim Jewish cemetery is located in the Dirmerzheim district of Erftstadt in the Rhein-Erft district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ). The smallest Jewish cemetery in the Rhein-Erft district with an area of around 50 m 2 was occupied from 1854 to 1870. Numerous stones have disappeared, today only three gravestones ( mazewot ) remain:

  • the double stone for Ester Müller (1812–1870) and Jonas Platz (1812–1854); weathered and sunken.
  • the stone for Sophia Rosen (1800–1858) and Jacob Nathan Klein.

The cemetery is on Brückenstraße opposite the sports field on the driveway to a bridge and can hardly be found. It is designed as a small green area and is not fenced. There are two tombstones on the right side of the complex, the third is on the left. The cemetery is right next to a bungalow . Like all Jewish cemeteries in the urban area of the city of Erftstadt, the cemetery is owned by the Cologne Synagogue Community , and the city of Erftstadt is responsible for maintaining the cemeteries.
