The Jewish cemetery in Hroznětín (German Lichtenstadt ), a Czech town in Okres Karlovy Vary , was established around 1500. It is one of the oldest Jewish burial places in Bohemia . The Jewish cemetery has been a protected cultural monument since 1988 .

The oldest still existing tombstones ( Mazevot ) date from the second half of the 17th century. They were damaged during the Nazi era . Only in the recent past has the Jewish cemetery with its approximately 300 gravestones been partially restored thanks to a private initiative.
