Jewish cemetery (Landau in der Pfalz)

The Jüdische Friedhof Landau is a Jewish cemetery in the independent city of Landau in the Palatinate in Rhineland-Palatinate . It is a protected cultural monument .

The cemetery , which was created in 1845/46 and expanded twice, is located in the municipal cemetery on Zweibrücker Straße. It was occupied from 1846 to 1990. There are 825 tombs on it, including numerous late Classicist steles .
