Jewish cemetery in Vrbové

The Jewish cemetery in Vrbové (German Vrbau or modernized Werbau ), a Slovak town in the Piešťany district , was laid out in the middle of the 18th century.

The official establishment of the Jewish community in Werbau probably did not take place until the 1730s. It soon became one of the largest Jewish communities in the Nitra area (German Neutra ).
