The Jewish cemetery in Weisenau

The Weisenau Jewish Cemetery in the Mainz-Weisenau district of the Rhineland-Palatinate state capital Mainz is a protected cultural monument .

The 643 m² Jewish cemetery on Portlandstrasse was laid out in 1882 after the old Christian cemetery. 44 tombstones from 1883/84 to the mid-1930s have been preserved in the cemetery .
