The Ahsen Jewish Cemetery is located in Ahsen , a district of the North Rhine-Westphalian city ​​of Datteln . It is located on Heidgartenweg and is 174 m² in size. The cemetery opened in 1824 and only five burials took place there until it was closed in 1873. During the National Socialist era , the cemetery was destroyed and the tombstones ( mazewot ) removed. A memorial stone commemorates this cemetery.
