The Jewish cemetery in Haltern am See was occupied from 1769 to 1939, it is located near the south wall and is a protected monument .

Six tombstones are still preserved in the cemetery today .

In 1980 a memorial stone for the victims of the Shoah was erected in Haltern am See, on which the names of the victims and that of the only survivor, Alexander Lebenstein , can be read.
