Jewish cemetery in Hörde

The Jüdische Friedhof Hörde is a Jewish cemetery in the Hörde district of the city of Dortmund . It is located on Hörder Kampweg next to house number 32 and is enclosed by a wall.

The name "Hörde" is engraved on the memorial in the Valley of the Congregations in Yad Vashem , Jerusalem .

There are 73 tombstones on the 4260 m² site . On the wall of the cemetery are gravestones inscribed in pure Hebrew. On October 20, 1942, 16 burials were reburied from the Jewish cemetery in Lüdinghausen.

The cemetery opened in 1914 and closed in 1967.

The cemetery is registered as an architectural monument in the monument list of the city of Dortmund .
