The Linz Jewish Cemetery in Linz am Rhein , a town in the Neuwied district ( Rhineland-Palatinate ), is located in Im Wolfsacker , today in the middle of a new development area. It has been a listed building since 1989 .

history

The Jewish community in Linz first buried their dead in the Jewish cemetery in Leubsdorf . In 1854 a separate cemetery was created on a steeply sloping plot of land. The area of ​​the cemetery is 1,317 m², the last burial took place in 1938. Today there are still over 100 tombstones ( Mazewot ).
