Jewish cemetery (Rheinbrohl)
The Rheinbrohl Jewish Cemetery is a Jewish cemetery in Rheinbrohl , a municipality in the Neuwied district in northern Rhineland-Palatinate .
history
The Jewish cemetery in Rheinbrohl is located about 1.5 km northeast of the town center between Arienheller and Christinenhöhe in the Lampental . It was built in the middle of the 17th century and was probably used until 1938. It covers an area of 30.93 ares and has about 60 tombstones ( mazewot ). Jews from Bad Hönningen were also buried in the cemetery. It has been a listed building since 1989 and is a protected cultural monument .
