Jewish cemetery (Salzwedel)

The Jewish cemetery Salzwedel is a cemetery in the Hanseatic city of Salzwedel in the Altmarkkreis Salzwedel in Saxony-Anhalt . It is a protected cultural monument .

About 20 tombstones have been preserved in the 640 m² Jewish cemetery .

history

The cemetery was laid out around 1850. It was occupied until the 1930s. After 1945 it was restored and has been looked after ever since.
