Jewish cemetery (Teterow)
The Teterow Jewish Cemetery is located in the town of Teterow in the Rostock district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . About 75 gravestones have been preserved on the approximately 2800 m² Jewish cemetery northeast of the municipal cemetery on the continuation of the street "Am Friedhof" .

The Jewish cemetery was laid out in 1762. The Jewish community leased land from the city for this purpose. In 1865 the cemetery was expanded and filled up. The oldest part remained in the middle of the property. The last burial took place in 1932. During the Nazi era in 1938 the cemetery was desecrated . In 1947 it was restored - as far as possible - and placed under monument protection in 1987 .
