history
Until 1901 the deceased of the Jewish community of Weiden were buried in the cemetery in Floß . In 1991 the cemetery in Weiden was desecrated. Since the existing Jewish cemetery in Weiden would be fully occupied in the foreseeable future, the Jewish community of Weiden acquired a 1500 m² property north of the Weiden forest cemetery to build a new Jewish cemetery. This new Jewish cemetery in Weiden was completed by the end of 2013.
