Jewish cemetery in Znojmo

The Jewish cemetery in Znojmo (German Znaim ), a town in the South Moravian Region in the Czech Republic , was laid out in 1868 north of the town on the Kühberg. There are still around 100 gravestones ( Mazevot ) in the Jewish cemetery .

Old Jewish Cemetery

The old cemetery was leveled after the Jews were exiled from the city in 1454. Some tombstones from this cemetery are in the South Moravian Museum in Znojmo .
