Jürgen Berghahn
Jürgen Berghahn (born July 5, 1960 in Blomberg ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and member of the state parliament in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Life
Berghahn trained as an electrician. He worked for the Schieder Möbel company for 26 years until it went bankrupt . From 1994 to 2008 he was a member of the works council , and from 2002 to 2008 he was deputy group works council chairman. Berghahn is also active as a consultant in adult education for private and trade union educational institutions. He has been a member of IG Metall since 1984 .
politics
Berghahn has been a member of the city council of Blomberg and mayor of Istrup since 2004 . He has also been chairman of the Blomberger property and property management team since 2004. He is chairman of the local SPD association Istrup / Wellentrup . He was elected as a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia in the state elections in 2010 , 2012 and 2017 in the Lippe II state electoral district.
