Jürgen Christian Hörl

Jürgen Christian Hoerl (born January 29, 1975 in Upper Austria ) is an Austrian designer .

Career

Hörl completed his training at the Technical School for Fashion and Clothing Technology in Linz in 1995. In 1996 he completed the master's atelier with a final master's examination. In 1999 he founded the fashion label JCH Fashion in Linz. He continued his professional education at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design as well as through courses at the Domus Academy in Milan . Hörl has lived and worked in Vienna since 2004. His fashion label was renamed JCHOERL in 2004, and since then the collections have been under this label at the annual MQ Vienna Fashion Week in Vienna . In 2015 his show was hosted by Mercedes-Benz. Since 2015 Hoerl has been presenting under the label JCH Juergen Christian Hoerl. Since then, his shows have taken place in his own studio in the Viennese studio on the Opernring, following French tradition.

Fashion

His collections consist of classic pieces of clothing, his focus is on evening dresses and ball gowns, made according to old traditions and craft methods in Vienna. His work also includes stage costumes and the like. a. for the Vienna State Opera, the Raimund Theater Vienna or the Vienna Volkstheater. His designs are worn by Maxi Blaha , Mirjam Weichselbraun , and Conchita Wurst , among others .
