Jürgen Dönges
Jürgen Dönges , also known under the stage name Jean-Pierre Valance , (* May 1956 ; † April 11, 2012 in Morsbach ) was a German pop composer .
Dönges, a trained cook who lives in Morsbach and was previously employed by the Bundeswehr in Siegen , among others , worked as both a lyricist and composer for artists such as Wolfgang Petry , Bernhard Brink , Jürgen Drews , Wencke Myhre and DJ BoBo . In 1981 he published his first and only publication under his own name, Ich bin ein Deutsches Kindchen, on the Düsseldorf punk label Pure Freude . In 1983 the Bläck Fööss version of this title appeared. He also wrote the songs Irgendwann, somewhere, somehow (interpreter: Jürgen Drews), Fall in love, lost, forgotten, forgive , bronze, silver and gold and white of the vulture (interpreter: Wolfgang Petry). Dönges has been awarded various gold, platinum and double-platinum records for his works. He died by suicide.
