Jürgen Faik

Jürgen Faik (born December 22, 1963 in Frankfurt am Main) is a German economist specializing in research on distribution and poverty.

Faik studied economics and sociology in Frankfurt / Main (1983-95) and graduated with a doctorate.

Faik was a lecturer for economics and statistics at the Frankfurt / Main University of Applied Sciences and for economics at the University of Lüneburg . Since 1996 he has been working as an expert in distribution / poverty research for the Association of German Pension Insurance Institutions and the German Pension Insurance Association . Until April 2014 he was also managing director of Faik & Mager GbR ("FaMa - Neue Frankfurter Sozialforschung").

Since 2014 he is lecturer at the University of Vechta with the instructor for Gerontology . Faik is also a lecturer in economics at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences .
