Jürgen Meier
Jürgen Meier (* 1938 ) is a German specialist in German.
Life
After receiving his doctorate in Hamburg in 1970 ( The Middle Low German verse story "De deif van Brugge". Material history and linguistic investigation ) he taught there from 1977 until his retirement in 2003 as professor for Low German philology and linguistics of German.
His main focus is the Middle Low German dictionary.
