Jürgen Wolfsgruber

Jürgen Wolfsgruber (born February 25, 1987 in Gmunden ) is an Austrian chef.

Career

After completing his training, Wolfsgruber went to Spain in 2005 to El Bulli at Ferran Adrià (three Michelin stars ) and in 2006 to The Fat Duck at Heston Blumenthal (three Michelin stars). In 2007 he went to Freisitz Roith in Gmunden, in 2009 to Restaurant Gassner in Salzburg and in 2011 to Schmederer Salzburg. In 2012 he returned to the Schlosshotel Freisitz Roith and in 2013 he went to the Ritterstern Schloss Münichau .

Since 2015 he has been self-employed with the Sparkling Bistro in Munich. In 2020 the restaurant was awarded a Michelin star.
