Jutish
Jutish or Jutlandic (Danish jysk , older spelling jydsk ) are the Danish dialects spoken in Jutland . In a broader sense, the word also refers to the regional variants or accents of standard Danish spoken in Jutland.
Jutisch is divided into four main groups:
- South Jutian ( sønderjysk ), which is spoken on both sides of the German-Danish border
- West Jutian ( vestjysk )
- Ostjütisch ( Østjysk that) under the Jutland dialects the island Danish and the standard Danish is most similar to
- North Jutian ( nordjysk )
Sometimes South Jutish is also viewed as a subgroup of West Jutian and North Jutish as a subgroup of East Jutian.
According to another classification, a distinction is made between southern and northern Jutisch (nørrejysk). The latter includes West, East and North Jutian. Nørrejylland , in German Norderjutland, is an old name for Jutland north of the Kongeå River (Königsau).
