Igor Jijikine
Igor Jijikine ( Russian Игорь Вита́льевич Жижикин - Igor Witaljewitsch Shishikin ; born October 8, 1965 in Moscow , Soviet Union ) is a Russian actor . In the movie Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008) he plays the role of Colonel Dovchenko .
Career
Jijikine studied acting and acrobatics from 1983 to 1988 and later performed. a. in the Moscow State Circus and in the USA with the Cirque du Soleil .
Active in Hollywood since 2000, he made his film debut in 2002 in Blood Work , directed by Clint Eastwood . He then appeared in two episodes of Alias - The Agent . In addition to his Hollywood engagements, Jijikine also works regularly in Russian film productions, e. B. in Montana by Alexander Atanesjan or Prince of Demons ( Вий ) directed by Oleg Steptschenko .
Jijikine had other television roles in the series General Hospital , Robbery Homicide Division and Strong Medicine: Two Doctors Like Fire and Ice . In the 2010 film The Tourist , he played a sidekick of the Russian gang boss.
