Jānis Dimza
Jānis Dimza (born November 1, 1906 in Ipiķi , Rūjiena district ; † 1942 ) was a Latvian decathlete .
At the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, he had to give up injured after the ninth discipline.
In 1934 he was fourth at the European Athletics Championships in Turin . At the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin, he broke off the competition after four disciplines.
He set his personal best of 7789 points on August 24, 1931 in Riga .
