JD Martin
John David Martin (born March 19, 1939 ) is a retired American decathlete and pole vaulter .
In 1963 he won the decathlon at the Pan American Games in São Paulo .
In 1960 he was starting NCAA pole vault champion for the University of Oklahoma .
