JS-16 (* 13. January 1975 as Jaakko Sakari Salovaara in Finland ) is a Finnish songwriter , DJ and music producer . He owns the music label 16 inch records .

Life

Jaakko Salovaara was born on January 13th 1975 and released his first album Hypnosynthesis at the age of 16 . He was trained at the Turku Conservatory and played as a cellist in the Turku Symphony Orchestra for a year.

He later released the album Stomping System , of which the single Stomping System made # 6 in the UK Club Charts.

He helped many bands to break through, such as the Bomfunk MC’s with the European hit Freestyler (2000), which made # 1 in 11 countries. In 2002 he produced a JS16 remix and JS16 dub from Britney Spears hit single Overprotected.

Today he produces 44 songs with the band Mighty and is also a member of the Dallas Superstars.
