The JUMO group of companies is a medium-sized, family-run measurement and control technology company with headquarters in Fulda and five branches in Germany, 25 subsidiaries in Germany and abroad and more than 40 agencies. JUMO has around 2,300 employees worldwide, 1,300 of them at the Fulda site. In 2017, the company achieved a turnover of 248.6 million euros.
Products
The product range includes components and system solutions for measuring, regulating, registering and analyzing physical and chemical parameters for the capital goods industry. The product range extends from sensors for temperature, pressure and analysis measurement technology to the control and registration of measurement data. Products and system solutions are mainly used in the following sectors: food industry , air conditioning , mechanical engineering , chemical and pharmaceutical industry , packaging industry, industrial furnace construction as well as water and sewage supply .
history
In 1948 Moritz Kurt Juchheim founded the company MK JUCHHEIM GmbH & Co. and started producing glass and glass contact thermometers . The brand name JUMO arose from the name of the company's founder (JUchheim, MOritz).
In 2017, a “Grand Prize for SMEs” went to JUMO.
JUMO celebrates its 70th birthday in 2018. In seven decades, a 6-man company in Fulda has become an international group of companies with 2,300 employees and 25 subsidiaries in Germany and abroad.
