JVC Kenwood Corporation was formed on October 1, 2008 from the merger of Victor Company of Japan Limited , known under the brand name JVC , and Kenwood Corporation .

Brands

JVC Kenwood appears in public with the brands JVC and Kenwood . Until the beginning of 2012, the company only appeared in Japan under the Victor brand. The brand was then abandoned in favor of the name JVC.
