The Journal of Cell Biology , abbreviated to J. Cell Biol. , Is a scientific journal published by Rockefeller University Press . The first edition appeared in 1955 under the name Journal of Biophysical and Biochemical Cytology . In 1962 the name was changed to the name valid today.
