Jaana Järvinen
Jaana Marjatta Tulikki Järvinen (born September 19, 1956 in Helsinki , † April 3, 2012 in Turku , Finland ) was a Finnish actress .
Life
Jaana Järvinen studied acting at the Helsinki Theater Academy from 1979 to 1982 . She then worked at the Oulu Theater until 1983 and at the Lappeenranta Theater until 1985 , before becoming a permanent member of the Turku Theater. At the same time, she was seen sporadically in Finnish films since the early 1980s, including in feature films such as Requiem for a Love and The Girl and the Rapper . For her performances in Huojuva talo and Haaveiden kehä , she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for the Finnish Jussi Film Prize, for which she was also awarded.
Järvinen was married to the actor Dick Holmström . The couple had two sons together. After a long illness, she died on April 3, 2012 at the age of 55.
