Jack Canfield (born August 19, 1944 in Fort Worth , Texas ) is an American author and motivational speaker.

Canfield is best known as the co-author of the New York Times bestselling book series Chicken Soup for the Soul . This book series has now appeared in more than 47 languages ​​and has sold more than 100 million times.

Canfield's book The Success Principles (Eng. "Compass for the soul") explains 64 principles to make people more successful (2005).

In 2006 he was one of the teachers in Rhonda Byrne's film The Secret .

In 2007 Canfield starts along with two other teachers from the movie The Secret , namely Bob Proctor and Michael Beckwith, the Science of Getting Rich program , based on a book by Wallace D. Wattles The Science of Getting Rich (dt. "Science of getting rich "). This book was also the template for Rhonda Byrne's bestseller, which primarily deals with "the law of attraction ".
