Jack Noren
Jack Noren (born October 19, 1929 in Chicago , † 1990 ibid.) Is a Swedish-American jazz drummer.
Live and act
Noren initially played for a short time at a young age with Gene Ammons and with local groups in Chicago before he and his family returned to their Swedish homeland in 1946. There he played with Sam Samson and Thore Jederby and from 1951 to 1953 with Arne Domnérus . At the beginning of the 1950s he was considered the most modern drummer in the Scandinavian country. In 1954 he returned to the USA and stayed there with the exception of 1960 and 1961.
In 1958 and 1959 he played with Eddie Higgins and Dave Poskonka .
