Jack Watson (born May 15, 1915 in Thorney , Cambridgeshire , England , † July 4, 1999 in Bath , Bath and North East Somerset , England) was a British actor .

Life

Jack Watson, the son of variety artist Nosmo King, began his acting career at the age of 16 in music halls . In the course of the 1950s he sporadically received film roles, in the 1960s and 1970s the actor with the angular face became a prominent figure in British cinema. He was seen almost exclusively in action , war and crime films, where he portrayed silent, persistent comrades, soldiers or police inspectors.
