Jackie Basehart
John Anthony Carmine Michael "Jackie" Basehart (born October 11, 1951 in Santa Monica , California - † May 16, 2015 in Milan ) was an American actor .
Life
Jackie Basehart, son of actors Richard Basehart and Valentina Cortese , began following in his parents' footsteps in 1976 (after appearing next to his father as a teenager) and was featured in almost 20 Italian films and TV productions by the turn of the millennium. Basehart, who looks slightly reminiscent of Errol Flynn , did not succeed in becoming a star, partly because of his lack of mimic skills. From the mid-1980s onwards, he was only very occasionally interested in continuing his career, which he had always encouraged through excesses away from the camera.
