Jackie Kottwitz (French: Jérôme K. Jérôme Bloche ) is a Franco-Belgian comic series written and drawn by Alain Dodier . The stories have been published since 1982.

content

Jackie Kottwitz is a young private investigator in Paris . He lives in simple circumstances and tries cleverly to solve his cases, which he succeeds more or less well. He occasionally has weird quirks and a loving environment, like his girlfriend Babette or the grocer Burhan.

The first two stories were written by Pierre Makyo and Serge Le Tendre . Makyo wrote album numbers 3 and 5, all other stories were written by the draftsman Alain Dodier himself.

publication

The first story appeared in December 1982 in the anthology Spirou -Album No. 4 and from then on regularly in advance in Spirou magazine. Its publisher Dupuis has also been publishing the albums since 1985. From 2007 a complete edition was published in black and white and then three anthologies in color.

In Germany, the first four albums were released from 1989 by Carlsen Verlag , and Volume 5 by Phoenix Verlag. In 2013 Finix Comics started a complete edition.
