Alain Dodier (born May 2, 1955 in Dunkerque ) is a French comic artist .

Alain Dodier is self-taught and published his first work in fanzines and the magazine Pistil in the 1970s . In 1980 short stories also appeared in Tintin and Djin. Together with copywriter Pierre Makyo , he created the fantasy funny Gully for the Mercredi magazine, which was continued in Spirou magazine and reprinted by Dupuis in six albums.

His best-known series Jackie Kottwitz for Spirou started in 1982 , initially with Makyo and Serge Le Tendre as copywriters and later alone. So far 27 albums have been released.
