Jackie Paterson

Jackie Paterson (* 5. September 1920 in Ayrshire , Scotland ; † 19th November 1966 ) was a British boxer in the flyweight .

Professional career

In 1938 he successfully began his professional career. On June 11, 1943 he boxed against Peter Kane for the universal world championship and won by classic knockout in round 1. He lost this belt on March 23, 1948 to Rinty Monaghan by knockout in round 7.

In 1951 he ended his career.
