Jackson Jesús Rodríguez Ortíz (born February 25, 1985 in San Cristóbal ) is a Venezuelan cyclist .

Athletic career

Jackson Rodríguez was the 2004 Pan American road race champion in the U23 class. The following year he won a stage in the Vuelta al Táchira . He was successful there again the next year. He also won a stage at the Vuelta a Cuba , the Vuelta a Venezuela and the Clásico Ciclístico Banfoandes . In 2007 he was with his team Lotería Táchira-Banfoandes first in the team time trial of the Vuelta al Táchira . From 2008 Rodríguez drove for the Venezuelan-Italian Professional Continental Team Serramenti PVC Diquigiovanni-Androni Giocattoli . In 2009 he won the Tour of Mexico . In the following years he achieved further stage successes at the Vuelta al Táchira and the Vuelta a Venezuela. In 2011 he and his team won the team time trial at the Settimana Internazionale .
