Mexico tour
The Vuelta Mexico Telmex (Vuelta y Ruta de Mexico) is a stages - cycling race in Mexico.
The race has been held annually with interruptions since 1948. But there were constant differences between private investors and the Mexican government. The length of the route and the number of stages varied greatly. In 1999 the Vuelta al Centro de la República was finally canceled. In 2008 a new annual tour - the Vuelta y Ruta de Mexico - started. This stage race is classified in the UCI America Tour ( UCI Category 2.2).
