Raúl Alcalá (* 3. March 1964 in Monterrey ) is a former Mexican professional - cyclist who was active from 1985 to 1999 and from 2008 to 2010.

In 1986, Alcalá became the first Mexican cyclist to compete in the Tour de France . At the Tour de France 1987 he won the white jersey of the best participant under 25 years of age. In both 1989 and 1990 he won a stage in the Tour of France and was eighth in the overall ranking. He represented his home country at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles , where he finished eleventh in the road race . In 2008 he briefly returned to the professional circus to participate in the Vuelta Chihuahua . In 2010 - at the age of 46 - he won the national championship in the individual time trial .
